My question is, can I cancel my auto insurance now? Do I have to wait, surely not as the car is destroyed and the insurance company already knows whats happened and has the car...
Check with your particular company. Most will still let you cancel because the claim was already in progress and as long as you were insured at the time of the incident, then you should have no problem.
